The study, the first of its kind to independently test a Gay Pheromone, showed that of the 76 gay men tested, 81 percent of those wearing their regular aftershave mixed with the Gay Pheromone saw an overall increase in a number of different sexual behaviors, and of the 48 lesbians tested, 79 percent of those wearing their regular perfume mixed with the gay pheromone also experienced an overall increase.
"This is not a smell one can detect, neither party is aware of it, but it is very powerful. This chemical appears to influence a gay person's desire to become sexually attracted to another." Dr Woods explains, a psychology professor of 15 years.
"During the Gay Pheromone study, one man reported, he had found it very awkward meeting other men, no self-confidence and was rarely approached, however, since wearing the gay pheromone he was approached almost every time he went out socially. Another man reported he slept with a romantic partner four nights a week while wearing the gay pheromone, compared to less than one night a week before the study."
"Of the 79 percent of lesbians who experienced an overall increase, over 60 percent reported that during the study, the number of times they were approached by other women increased up to 10 times and found that pleasure during intimate moments were greatly heightened."
Pheromones are chemical substances released through our sweat glands to cause a change in the reproductive behavior of another person and can directly stimulate a person's sexual behavior through olfactory sensors processing information. The pheromones are detected through the Vomeronasal Organ (VNO) in the nose. The VNO functions as the distinct sensory apparatus that detects pheromones for humans. The pheromones, through the VNO, stimulate the Hypothalamus in the center of the brain, which is the very center of our emotions. The gay pheromone sends a signal of attraction, sexual feelings and desire.
A total of 38 men and 24 women used the gay pheromone and the same quantity used the placebos. During the following 12 weeks, each person recorded six different sexual behaviors each day. The most significant changes were the increased number of times the gay-pheromone users were approached, increased sexual pleasure, increased self-confidence and the intimate behaviors that required a partner.
